they work the graveyard shift at a 24-hour convenience store. an aspiring writer, they spend much of their free time researching the paranormal and the occult, particularly outsider cults and lesser-known gods.

but lately, their dreams are becoming worse. they're losing sleep. dead birds begin to appear on their windowsill. shadows lurk in the corners. and one day, they receive a letter from an unknown individual, asking to meet.
