lovecraft was profoundly racist. this is one of my favourite stories of his, terribly marred by a major character being named a racist slur, making it extremely difficult to reccommend to people. i have replaced every instance of it with the name 'Shadow', which conveys more or less the same information. this is a free word document you can download!
